Bluffing in Fixed Limit Poker
Perhaps one of the toughest games to bluff in would be a fixed limit
poker.net game. It is very hard to get a good bluff off in this type of game for one simple reason. It just will not work. There is no worry of losing anything more than what the limit is. That brings the comfort that all they will have to call is that one specific amount, and even if it is raised it will not be that much more.

Either way, it usually is not worth it to find out. On the other hand, a bluff usually doesn’t cost much to try in a fixed limit game either.
A game like this is more about hand selection and really playing by the impeach poker book. You will have more success like that then if you were trying to pull off bluffs all day long. Just keep in mind that in a fixed limit game you cannot bet the amount that needs to be bet in order to successfully get your opponents to fold. Bluffing in fixed limit games will fail a lot more than it will succeed.
