www.PokerStars.com was launched in 2003 and has quickly grown into the world's largest and most popular online poker room. They offer huge tournaments and rarely has less than 100,000 players at the tables. I went there
to download
the pokerstars software and signed up so I could write this PokerStars review and I was immediately impressed by the amazing software they offer, so impressed that I decided to create this web site and promote them. When you sign up you will be asked for a Poker Stars marketing code. Use POKERHG7 and you will receive a $50 bonus. Back to my story, everything loaded quick and looked nice. Since I am from the United States I was worried that I would not be able to play there for real money but luckily they accept players from the US.
The first thing I did was sit at a play money table to see how the tables looked. The action at the tables is very smooth and I had everything figured out within a couple minutes. I figured I would try and make a deposit so I went to the deposit screen and noticed they have an e-check option available for US players. Usually making a deposit at an online poker room is hard for me but I tried this echeck method. It worked, PokerStars immediately credited my account with the deposit amount. I used the PokerStars bonuscode POKERHG7 so I received a 100% match up to $50 on my deposit.
After a few hours of play I was up $20 and half way to clearing my entire bonus. There are so many different tables running it was easy to find a very loose table and my preferred stakes. The next day I played in one of their tournaments, which I got knocked out very quickly. My overall feel for the room is that PokerStar.net is the best place to play online poker. They offer everything any other poker room offers but on a larger scale. The software is excellent and there are a lot of professional players to watch. PokerStars also offers many different games including some oddball ones that you don't see at most poker rooms. The one thing I didn't like about PokerStars is the support. You can reach them only by email and it takes a long time to get a response.
